Step 1. The first step in our interview process is to submit materials to the Superintendent’s Office, creating your Applicant’s File. Applicant files must be complete before any interviews will be arranged. A completed Applicant File consists of: a. Personal Resume b. Completed Application c. College Transcripts d. Current References. e. Photocopy of your Missouri Teaching Certificate (or a letter explaining the status of your teaching certificate)

your resume, references, or any of the above mentioned information you have in digital form, then please download, print out, fill out and mail in a signed copy of the Application for Employment for the Type of Position you are Applying for. When your Applicant File is complete, it will be screened and placed in our active files for consideration. Step 3. The Applicant File is active for one year, but may be renewed/updated in person or in writing. Step 4. Depending on the number of applicants for a particular job vacancy, either all candidates with the required experience and credentials, or only those with superior experience and credentials, will be interviewed. Step 5. When a vacancy is announced, candidates will be selected and scheduled for interviewing. Candidates are chosen for interviews by an administrative team or the superintendent depending on faculty availability. The interviews may be conducted by the superintendent and an administrative team member. Candidates are then recommended to the Superintendent of Schools. Step 6. If you are chosen for the position, the Superintendent or Administrative team member will contact you to confirm your willingness to accept the position. The recommendation would then be submitted to the Westview Board of Education and employment would become official upon their approval and signing of the contract. If you are not recommended for employment, you will be notified. Your application will be returned to the active file for consideration each time openings occur for a one year period.
